Fighting a nasty head cold, blood sugar spiked to 235,#afrezza brought it to 103 in 15 minutes….priceless

My son, recently sick, woke up over 200-insulin resistant due to immune hormones
Took #Afrezza-fast drop & stayed in range 90%— Steven Rodriguez (@Stepvenator) March 3, 2021
they give false info here. You can still take #afrezza w/ a cold. I just took it w/ pneumonia (!) and it worked perfectly.

colds have never been an issue here either.

@RooksLeAnne @LochlynMunro I've had at head cold and taken it, works the same.

Son was sick yesterday, insulin resistant. First cold with #Afrezza. What a difference in control from injected insulin & no cough! pic.twitter.com/TV801BYL9J

Being diagnosed w/ flu & pneumonia is rough. Since that's how I got #t1d to start. Kind of emotional. My #afrezza still works perfectly tho.

I promised good/bad/ugly with #Afrezza. https://t.co/UcPdg20sVr Flu season, #Afrezza, survived!

agreed. Basal is usually the culprit. Afrezza reliable 4us even w a cold

I seem to need more & more #Afrezza - some days even 8u corrections do little when I'm >200. Also having trouble inhaling since a cold/cough
